It flourished at the center point of the Machida road which connects the trade port "Yokohama" and the Silk village "Hachioji"
It was founded in Machida City, Tokyo, a hundred odd years.
"Houeido" was founded in 1885 (Meiji 1943) as a tool dealer dealing with foreign clocks and the like.
After the war, started as a large specialty shop to handle jewelry and glasses,
In 1970, a specialized department was established to handle tea utensils.
In 2003, we moved to the current location and we renewed the jewellery floor in 2016.
